White, the color that has the strictest rules if you’re from the South or abide by their ways. The old wife’s tale states that wearing white is only acceptable in the summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day), but us Southerns find it acceptable to bring it out starting Easter Sunday because the temperatures rise earlier. However you feel about this rule, most of us stuff our white jeans and dresses into the backs of our closets for most of the year. Spring has started, Easter has passed, the temps are rising, and it is finally time again to bring out our summer whites!!
