I cannot believe we are eight months post wedding, and I am just now getting around to sharing the pictures of our bridal party and family. Since we did a first look, we took all of our bridal party and immediate family pictures before the ceremony. I was so glad we did this because we were able to take them outside showcasing the gorgeous venue and spend time with guests at happy hour.
Anyone that decides on a Winter wedding, just know that for lighting purposes you have to either start your ceremony early in the afternoon or take all of your pictures before it begins. The sun set at 5:30 on December 4th, so we knew we had to take everything beforehand because our ceremony started at 4:30.
If I could recommend one thing to future brides, it would be to have a list of all the pictures that you want taken! I know that if I would not have given my photographer a list, a lot of the pictures that we cherish now may not have happened. Something unique that my family does, is at all of our family weddings we have ALL of our family take a picture together! It’s so fun to look back on these pictures and see how our family has grown and how we’ve all grown up.
