It’s July, which means the NORDSTROM SALE is happening!! Best sale of the year by far for new fall clothes, shoes, and accessories! I love this sale because it gives me an idea of what the new fashion trends will be for fall. I am going to share with y’all items on my wish list that I think are so cute and trendy and pieces I have bought in previous Nordstrom sales that are included again this year that I have loved.
Falls Trends 2022
The new trendy (must have) items for fall are collared sweaters, clogs, western boots and leather shorts/ pants. The baggy jeans are also in style again, but that is just too 90’s for me and not my style.
I am all here for the collared sweater look this Fall! It is such a classic, simple look and this camel colored one from Madewell is beautiful! I can already picture myself wearing this top with my favorite jeans and white sneakers all fall long.
Western boots, a Texas girls favorite accessory! When I saw that western boots were going to be all the rage again this Fall it made me so excited. I think the brown distressed color of these Free People booties is so pretty. I love pairing my western boots with my jeans and dresses for that country chic look!
Is it just me or do y’all love the leather look too in Fall! It takes a simple sweater or top and makes the outfit so trendy! I am most excited for the shorts to pair with a light sweater for the hot Fall days we have in Texas! These will allow me to get the Fall/Winter look I want without having to wear long hot pants.
My favorite Fall dress included in this year’s sale is the Plaid Long Sleeve Shirtdress. This dress would be PERFECT for the pumpkin patch and Thanksgiving! The maroon color is so beautiful, and the plaid print is so fun!
If you are in the hunt for an exercise dress, the Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress is one of my favorites! I LOVE the pink color they have included in the sale! I will say it was one of the things I was most excited about, because I wear my black one all the time. I might end up grabbing this in a few colors since it is $30 off!
Favorites From Past Nordstrom Sales
The Steve Madden Sock booties were my most grabbed booties out of my closet last fall/winter! They go with everything and look great under most cropped jeans. I have them in the sand suede color, but they also come in black and bone this year.
My favorite comfy throw on cardigan has to be the Barefoot Dreams Cardigan. It is the perfect light weight cardigan for Fall, and travel. I always throw mine in my carry-on suitcase just in case I get cold on a plane.
I am sure y’all have heard about the hype of the faux leather Spanx leggings, and yes, I love them too! I have had mine for 2 years now and they still look brand new! I pair mine with oversized sweaters and booties for a comfy yet put together look!
If I had to choose one thing that is ABSOUTELY worth the money on the Nordstrom sale, it would be the Barefoot Dreams blankets! I purchased a Barefoot Dreams blanket a few years ago, and they are by far my FAVORITE blankets! They are so soft and cozy, and the blanket I always grab to snuggle on the couch with. It is never too early to start thinking about Christmas presents, and this would be the perfect gift! There are so many different colors, styles, and patterns this year available. There is sure to be one you’ll love.
